About Me

I am a two time breast cancer survivor and now have a rare autoimmune disease that is slowly attacking my whole body. My one hope here is that "Happy" goes international before it's too late. I'm running out of time. I want my legacy in life that I helped make people happy!

This is where I post about something good or something happy each day. Then YOU post something good or something happy as a comment! Let's see how far Happy will go!

    How Far Will Happy Go?

Somewhere out there Happy is running around! If you find some Happiness in your life, could you take a picture and let me know where Happy has been and how you found him? He started in Houston, TX and I've heard that he's been to Kansas, New York, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Oregon. He's pretty fast! You can even print Happy here to take with you on your happy adventure today! Then, take a picture of him with you and send it (along with a description of where Happy went) to Melena1006ataoldotcom.

Are you kidding? Has this ever happened to you?

I just upgraded to DSL (yes, I'm out of the cave) and I was loving it. But every time that my phone rang it would kick me off my internet. So I called up the company, and I'm going to name names here now. I called AT&T and was quickly connected to customer service with the push of just a few buttons. I didn't have to repeat all of my information that I had just punched in, just a couple of questions to verify it was actually me that they were speaking with. So I explained my problem and then the unthinkable happened.

They schechuled a service call for the SAME DAY!!!!

Who ever heard of getting service on the same day??? Have you?? I thought they were joking. I seriously did. I actually laughed when they told me that they would have a tech out there the same day. Was this for real?

Sure enough, 2 hours later, I received a call from the tech saying that he was on his way. He diagnosed the problem, fixed it and there was NO CHARGE!!!

What?? Same day service and no charge? What's wrong with this picture? Was this bizarro day?

Needless to say, I am very happy with AT&T and would highly recommend them. I've heard and seen the horror stories of the other big phone, internet, digital TV, cell phone company and if they did business like ATT does, well, what can I say. They'd have happy customers like me too. Yep, I'm happy.

You are ssoooo lucky! What kind of good mojo did you use, sweet voice, bat those eyelashes, offer good food (oh wait, you don't cook-you boil eggs too long)? Whatever you used, Good Job!

I had my own computer problems yesterday and Wed. We had new hardwood floors installed in two rooms. And, of course the Mexicans, of which there was a min. of 4) had to move all the heavy furniture, including my credenza which holds all my computer stuff. When they were done, they didn't plug everything back in, so I tried. Big Mistake! I know how to start up computers and VCR and that kind of stuff. Read the directions, first. So since I already had installed everything years ago, I shouldn't have any problem! However, after plugging all the wires and cords back in, I didn't have internet access and the modem and router would not work. No matter what I did, no matter what I unplugged or replugged, no matter what I turned on/off, there was no internet connection. Until, 9:23 pm last night. Hubby came in to help me after all my complaining and whining. He unplugged and replugged, which-believe me, I did the same things. The internet began working, however, he didn't fix the router for my laptop. Now, it doesn't work. My MAN is such a "tool man"

Did you change the location of your router? Even by a little bit? Is you thingy in the back showing that it is receiving the signal from the router? Did you run a computer check to see if you are receiving any signal from your provider? Did you try to go to your internet tools and set it to defaults? I'm having computer problems too. Mine is running very, very slow. So AT&T checked it against his computer to make sure it was my computer and it is. So I have a computer guy coming out Tuesday that said if he couldn't fix it, nobody could. He said it might have a virus and he could install a free virus thing on mine, the same that he uses on his. The most it will cost is $55-$125 tops. I think that's a pretty good price. I had just signed up for super fast high speed when this happened too. I can't wait to get it fixed. Woo Woo, I'll be in internet hyperspeed!!! I need to email you, I have so much to say!
