About Me

I am a two time breast cancer survivor and now have a rare autoimmune disease that is slowly attacking my whole body. My one hope here is that "Happy" goes international before it's too late. I'm running out of time. I want my legacy in life that I helped make people happy!

This is where I post about something good or something happy each day. Then YOU post something good or something happy as a comment! Let's see how far Happy will go!

    How Far Will Happy Go?

Somewhere out there Happy is running around! If you find some Happiness in your life, could you take a picture and let me know where Happy has been and how you found him? He started in Houston, TX and I've heard that he's been to Kansas, New York, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Oregon. He's pretty fast! You can even print Happy here to take with you on your happy adventure today! Then, take a picture of him with you and send it (along with a description of where Happy went) to Melena1006ataoldotcom.

    My little flower garden

I'm not supposed to be doing things like this due to doctor's orders, BUT I wanted a little flower garden in front of my house. There's a little 3' X 4' area that is just perfect for a garden. And I wanted daisies to prove to people that I was planting daisies and not pushing them up yet.
So I now have a beautiful little garden with daisies, petunias, an urn with a beautiful plant in it, mulch and a little white picket fence that goes around it and I also put the little white fence around my sidewalk leading up to my front door. As soon as I can get the pictures developed, I'll post them on here.
I'm so proud of my little garden. I fell while I was doing this and couldn't get up, so I crawled on the sidewalk to inside my house to my walker. I guess that's why my doctor says don't do things like that. DUH!
But I have a little garden. I finally planted roots. It changed the whole personality of how my house looks. I usually kill any plant I try to grow, but I have discovered Miracle Grow! It will make anything grow. So I made sure that each little plant had a dose of Miracle Grow in it.
It was hard to do, but I have a garden now! Isn't that wonderful. I did it!!!!!!

Now you can "watch your garden grow" from INSIDE your house. Get it?

I got my hair highlighted yesterday and I LOVE IT. It looks so natural. A good hairdresser makes the difference. This time she brought out some samples of color and showed me what they would look like in my hair and together we chose a color. And I love it!! And, I found out I'm a natural blonde. I always thought I had light brown hair. I'M A BLONDE! Hhhmmm, maybe that explains some things...Kathy

Blonds have more fun! I bet that looks great. I had that done to my hair right before I had chemo and I loved it. It looked great. It grows out evenly too. Enjoy!
