Every Day, It Happens To Someone, Somewhere
I am so tired of reading about all the bad things that happen everyday in the world. I just was beginning to feel overwhelmed by it that it just became sickening to even read a magazine, read the newspaper or watch the news. Then one day it dawned on me that we've been brainwashed into believing that it is normal. Since that's all we hear or read everyday, day in and day out, it's only human nature that we became conditioned to it and started believing what we heard and read. That only bad, horrible things happen everyday to someone.
But then I realized that everyday, somewhere, someone, something happens to someone or they witness something that is actually good news or makes you feel happy. It would be so nice to be able to share that with someone. So I've decided on this blog that everyday, I will write about something happy that happened to me or someone else of that I heard of. And I want to see if the other bloggers will spread the word about this blog and add their story to it everyday. Imagine opening up this blog section and KNOW that you're going to read about something happy everyday.
I want to see how far happy will go. Like the guy who held up the sign that read "Free hugs" or "Pay it Forward." See, it's NORMAL for people to be happy. We were born to be happy. The morning brings joy. We just need to share it and hear about it like we do the news, magazines, and newspapers. We need to expose it. That's what this blog is about.
Okay, I'll start. I got an email today that gave the recipes for a lot of the best dishes at the most popular restaurants. How cool was that! Especially since this friend that sent it to me, knows that I CAN'T COOK! I think the smoke alarm is a timer! I mean I really am a lousy cook. I burned boiled eggs twice in one day. So it made me laugh. I think he sent it as a joke, secretly. But when I looked at some of the recipes, I thought that I maybe, just maybe, I could probably make some of these dishes. Well, at least they don't look too difficult. But it really made me happy that someone took the time to send me some of my favorite recipes for some of my favorite dishes. That was either so kind of him or else it means he understands that we will always eat out a lot. Either way, it made me really happy. Now if he would just come over and supervise while I try to do this. I guess I'll find out how brave he really is. LOL
Okay, your turn. Add something to this. Remember, this is an everyday blog, so if you don't read it or add to it, you're going to miss out some happiness for the day.

Okay, now you're got that tune in mind head for the rest of the day. I have to go to the grocery store later today so I'll be singing it aloud there!
Mobea doesn't know this but she's an "OK" sister. She calls me to leave me messages to say "I called to say I love you". She tries to IM with me, but I won't stay online long enough but she keeps trying. She sends me jokes. She sends me silly cards on my birthday. She loves my grandchildren because they renamed her "Aunt BooBoo Bandaid". She will tell me off and then make me laugh about it. What's not to love about a sister like that? A sister is somebody you can tell secrets to about your family and know it won't get re-told. She has a heart of gold. Her friends will tell her that. Too bad she lives thousands of miles away. Now, I'll bet she tearing up, aren't you Aunt BooBoo Bandaid? Plus, she will call you at 6 AM on your birthday and sing to you, very off key I might add. Who wouldn't love a sister that does that?
