About Me

I am a two time breast cancer survivor and now have a rare autoimmune disease that is slowly attacking my whole body. My one hope here is that "Happy" goes international before it's too late. I'm running out of time. I want my legacy in life that I helped make people happy!

  • About Happy

    This is where I post about something good or something happy each day. Then YOU post something good or something happy as a comment! Let's see how far Happy will go!

    How Far Will Happy Go?

    Somewhere out there Happy is running around! If you find some Happiness in your life, could you take a picture and let me know where Happy has been and how you found him? He started in Houston, TX and I've heard that he's been to Kansas, New York, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Oregon. He's pretty fast! You can even print Happy here to take with you on your happy adventure today! Then, take a picture of him with you and send it (along with a description of where Happy went) to Melena1006ataoldotcom.

    About Mobea

    We all hear or read about all the bad things that happen in this world everyday, but where can you go when something really good happens to you or someone and you just have to tell someone about it and there's no one around. Here's the place! I want to see how many people will actually post something happy and see how far it will go. Like the guy who held up the sign "Free Hug" and it spread internationally. Plus it makes you feel better when you can share good news. Let's see if this can really work. All you have to do is put a comment here. I'll make sure it gets posted. Let's try it to see if it works. It doesn't have to be anything major, maybe something simple like someone opened the door for you today when your arms were full. Or you passed a test that you have really studied hard for. There are so many little things in life that make us happy, that I think we forget to mention them. Well, speak now. Get your friends involved.

    I am a retired disabled tax accountant. I have a rare autoimmune disesase that makes life little diffcult for me at times but I still have 5-6 hours that I feel pretty good every day thanks to good drugs. I am a two time breast cancer survivor and I feel very blessed just to wake up every day and find that my name is not in the obits that day. I'm poor as a church mouse, though I do okay on my own. I drive a Rolls Canhardly. It rolls down one hill and can hardly make it up the other. I like being in my 50's. I love motorcycles (I've had my license for over 30 years though I haven't owned one in over 10 years) playing cards, though I am by far the worse poker player you'd ever meet, playing Scrabble, crossword junkie, museums, road trips, concerts, rock and roll to symphony, learning any new, everyday. I just want to start LIVING life again while I still can. Anything else you want to ask me and all I can say is that I'd have a hard time being anybody else but me. And I'm just basically a happy person because i have been blessed by so many loving family and friends.

    Hi everyone!
    Oh, and this is my dog and best friend Comet!

      Tuesday;
      Aren't we glad we live in states where the weather hardly goes below freezing? After this week, our average temp. will be 85 or above for the next 3 months. Oh, happy day, I'm in the A/C

      So far I've only had to turn the A/C on for a couple hours a day, mostly in the late afternoon. BUT it IS summertime now. I've been on level billing the whole year now and have a pretty good credit built up. That should disappear in a couple of months. But I sure am glad that I don't have to worry about high utility bills this summer. Yeah!!!

      Yep, but have to remember to turn the air conditioner off at night and just run the ceiling fans or I'll wake up freezing in the morning. I'll trade a few months of hot weather for six months of shoveling snow and ice storms anyday. Plus living this close to the water. Aaahhhh!
